Santa Pod Raceway hosts the NSRA Hot Rod Drags event this coming weekend on Friday 13th – Sunday 15th September – This highly anticipated nostalgia event is celebrating its 36th anniversary and is always a highlight in the nostalgia calendar.
As part of this year’s event, we have teamed up with Titanium Fireworks and have planned a fireworks display on Saturday 14th September.
This display is scheduled for 20:00, with a duration of around 8 minutes, but please note that the timing of the display may be adjusted slightly depending on weather conditions and track action.
We shall be keeping an eye on the weather forecast into this weekend and if this requires any material changes to the timings of the display, we will advise accordingly.
With regards to the expected traffic: Hot Rod Drags is a multi-day event, with gates due to open to the public at 12pm on Thursday 12th September.
Historically, we haven’t had any queues at this event, and we don’t expect that this year will be any different.
