Santa Pod Raceway hosts its annual FIA/FIM European Finals event next weekend on Thursday 5th – Sunday 8th September – This highly anticipated, family orientated racing event is always a highlight in our drag racing calendar.
As part of this event’s activities, we have planned a fireworks display on Friday 6th September. This display is scheduled for 20:15, with a duration of around 8 minutes, but please note that the timing of the display may be adjusted slightly depending on weather conditions and track action.
We are currently tracking the weather forecast into next weekend and if this requires any material changes to the timings we will advise accordingly.
With regards to the expected traffic: European Finals is a multi-day event, with gates due to open to the public at 2pm on Wednesday 4th September.
Any queues at this event have historically been well-behaved and of short duration. We anticipate having them efficiently managed and cleared on both ingress and egress to and from the site across this event.
