Preparations are under way for our 37th annual Bug Jam, gates to this event open tomorrow at 2.00pm till 8.00pm for early arrival then again on Friday from 7.00am through to 11.00pm. I don’t foresee any difficulties in the way of traffic congestion for Bug Jam, however there will be an increased traffic flow during the arrival periods on Thursday and Friday. Due to the nature of our audience for this show, we don’t expect any problems around anti-social driving, however the police will be having a presence at Santa Pod and approaches during the event just to keep an eye on things.
There will be live music on site; we’ll be running our main stage until 11.00pm and our inside music will finish at 1.00am. There will also be music from a funfair that attends Bug Jam annually. We have sound engineers who are specifically tasked to monitor the sound profile in the local area, they will be feeding back to site with information on the noise levels in surrounding villages. Where possible. Depending on wind direction etc. we will make the appropriate adjustments.
Departure day is Sunday, the Bug Jam crowd tends to trickle out during the entire day, so I don’t predict and problems with this.
As ever, if you have any issues, please do give the office a call on 01234-782828, we will do our very best to respond to you issue as soon as we can.
